About Us

The Campbell River Vineyard Christian Fellowship is a Church in Campbell River that wants to “Know and Make Known the Unsurpassable Love of Christ.”
What does our Sunday Service look like?

When you walk into the building you will be greeted by one of our welcome staff.  They will hand you a bulletin and can answer any questions you have.  You can find a seat anywhere.  We start at 10:00 AM with music and singing.  Feel free to stand, sit, move, sing, or listen as our music teams play.  After the music there will be announcements and we take an offering.  If you are new and checking out our church don’t feel obligated to give anything, the offering is for anyone who calls our church home or believes in what we are doing.  Finally there will be a message that you can listen to and apply to your life. There is sometimes a song after the message but we usually finish between 11:30 and 11:45. Afterwards we have free coffee that you can enjoy and meet some new people if you wish.

Hope to see you soon!

What happens if I have Kids?

We enjoy having our children stay in the first part of our service, this is the music/worship segment of the service.  After the singing and announcement the children will be invited forward where the Children’s Church leaders and helpers will lead them into their classrooms in the portables outside.  In Children’s Church they can expect a welcome, snacks, story, games, and free play. The heart behind everything we do at the Campbell River Vineyard is to ensure the children feel that they are loved and they are safe.

We have two classes (ages 3 to grades 1) and (grades 2 to grade 5) with some of our youth as helpers.  If there are any children who wish to stay in the service, with their parents, we have colouring sheets available as you enter the building.

We also have a nursery available for our babies up to age 2 upstairs.  We have a rotating staff of nursery workers so you can choose to sit in the service or stay with your baby. If you choose to stay in the Nursery with your baby then the service can be seen and heard for your enjoyment.

If you do have children, please check them in when you enter the church building. One of the teachers will be there to meet you and your children and sign the child in. This is a great way to meet the teacher and to hear about what your child will be learning. Also, after the service, you can pick up your child by signing them out in the portable.

What should I wear

Whatever you want.  We believe that you shouldn’t have to dress up to come to church.  Most of the people who come wear jeans and a t-shirt.  Some like to dress up a little more and some will come in their hunting gear.  We believe that what clothes a person has shouldn’t affect whether they should come to church.  Come in whatever makes you most comfortable.
