About Us

The Campbell River Vineyard Christian Fellowship is a Church in Campbell River that wants to “Know and Make Known the Unsurpassable Love of Christ.”
What does our Sunday Service look like?

When you walk into the building you will be greeted by one of our welcome staff.  They will hand you a bulletin and can answer any questions you have.  You can find a seat anywhere.  We start at 10:00 AM with music and singing.  Feel free to stand, sit, move, sing, or listen as our music teams play.  After the music there will be announcements and we take an offering.  If you are new and checking out our church don’t feel obligated to give anything, the offering is for anyone who calls our church home or believes in what we are doing.  Finally there will be a message that you can listen to and apply to your life. There is sometimes a song after the message but we usually finish between 11:30 and 11:45. Afterwards we have free coffee that you can enjoy and meet some new people if you wish.

Hope to see you soon!

What happens if I have Kids?

We like to have our younger members of the audience stay and enjoy our music at the start of the service.  After the singing and announcement they will be invited up to the front where the Sunday School teachers will lead them into their classroom outside.  In Sunday School they will get a teaching about life, have a snack, and will often play games.  We have two Sunday School classes Grades 1-4 and Grades 5-8.  For any younger children we have colouring sheets that you can ask for as you enter the building.  We also have a nursery for toddlers to the left of our stage and upstairs.  We have no nursery workers so you will have to care for your own children in that room.  When you are up there the message and singing is broadcast in their so you can still enjoy the service while you are caring for your child.

What should I wear

Whatever you want.  We believe that you shouldn’t have to dress up to come to church.  Most of the people who come wear jeans and a t-shirt.  Some like to dress up a little more and some will come in their hunting gear.  We believe that what clothes a person has shouldn’t affect whether they should come to church.  Come in whatever makes you most comfortable.
