Campbell River Vineyard Ministries

 CRV Prayer Ministry

Matthew 21:13 Jesus declared, “ It is written: My house will be called a house of prayer.”

It is our desire to see a culture of listening prayer established in our Campbell River Vineyard (CRV) family, where we intentionally seek the Lord and listen for His Spirit to lead us. We desire for prayer to be central to everything we do, just as prayer was at the heart of everything Jesus did. We desire to create a safe place in all our events, where everyone can confidently ask for prayer and know they will be treated with compassion, respect, and confidentiality.

We endeavour to accomplish the above by creating a canopy of prayer over CRV, ensuring every family, ministry, and event is covered with prayer. Each calendar year in our church offers several scheduled events to encourage growth and maturing in our knowledge and practice of prayer. These opportunities range from weekly and quarterly prayer events, to prayer curriculum in our children’s program, to training for prayer ministry in our services, to annual calls to corporate prayer and fasting.

It is our goal that CRV be known as a house of prayer.

CRV Worship Music Ministry

In the past couple of years we have experienced many challenges during a pandemic. However, God is bigger than it all! While we have experienced mandates and restrictions, in the Spirit we have experienced liberty and freedom! In the midst of isolation and “social distancing” we have enjoyed community and encountered an intimacy with our Savior! Praise the Lord!

As fears in the world seem to grow around a pandemic, faith seems to rise in the hearts of those who love Jesus and it is being experienced in our worship services. We’ve experienced some amazing and special worship times together in the midst of challenging times. Our monthly worship gatherings on the first Saturday of each month have been simple and sacred with some incredible moments of sharing and worship.

One thing that stands out the most is how the youth have found a voice in the worship services.  During our “testimony Services”  and during the Rhema space I’ve been encouraged that everyone, young and old, have felt free to share what the Lord has put upon their hearts.  There is a significant level of freedom that we experience each week here at the Vineyard.  This is something to continue to nurture and not take for granted. The Holy Spirit is moving in our congregation and for that we can be excited and look forward with anticipation for what He has on his heart for us this coming year.
